Wheels FAQs
How is Ghost Wheels different from Safe Stop?
Ghost Wheels stay on the ground 100 % of the time. Yes, Ghost Wheels
are independent from one another. They lean with the bike, and with
the lean angle figured in with the design you could scrape the floorboards
off before the Ghost Wheels ever come into play. Back

What keeps them on the road?
Ghost Wheels are connected via high-pressure hydraulic lines. When
unlocked, the fluid simply flows from one side to the other as you
lean the bike. With an air over oil differential tank mounted in
between both sides to take up any shock, in case one side hits an
object or pothole in the road. They make for a very smooth ride.

What about the wheels turning at such a high RPM?
We use motorcycle trailer wheels & tires with "TIMKEN"
tapered bearings. Ghost Wheels has been tested well over 100 mph
(for testing purposes) and changing from lane to lane, with no affect
on the ride what so ever. You do not even know the Ghost Wheels
are there. I know first hand, I was the test pilot. Back

What happens when you come to a stop?
When stopping, you simply flip the control switch (located by the
throttle) about 5 feet from where you are going to come to a complete
stop. The fact that the Ghost Wheels are independent, no matter
what angle you might be on, the normally open solenoid leaves slam
shut and lock the hydraulics at that point. Back

If you come to a stop and the bike is not straight, can
you correct it?
Yes. On the left side handle bar is an emergency unlock switch (push
button). You simply put your feet down, push your switch and hold,
and straighten the bike and release the switch and the hydraulics
are locked again instantly. Back to Top
What if I accidentally flip the switch while riding?
The alarm comes on and the red & green lights begin to flash
audio warning and visual warning, telling the rider to put the switch
back where it belongs. You can only lock Ghost Wheels under 15 mph.
